Salicylany (Aspirin, Acylpyrin) na prelome tisícročí

Autori podávajú prehľad poznatkov o salicylanoch od antiky po dnešok. Liečivo sa sprvoti používalo v naturálnej forme, od roku 1899 ako kyselina acetylosalicylová (Aspirin, neskôr Acylpyrín, resp. iné galenické formy). V príspevku sa opisujú doteraz známe základné účinky, vedlajšie účinky najmä z pohľadu pediatra a vízia použitia v ďalšom tisícročí. Podáva sa tiež prehľad niektorých vlastných skúseností autorov.

Salicylates (ASPIRIN, ACYLPYRYN) in break of millenium

Authors give review of knowledge about salicylates from antic time up to nowadays. Pharmacon was used in past in natural form, from 1899 as acidum acetylosalicylicum (Aspirin, Acylpyrín, or others galenic forms). In this contribution are described basic effects, there are known up to the present time, side effects especially from the view of pediatrics and vision of usiny in next milenium. It is given also review some own experiences of authors.
