Antitrombotika patria k najdiskutovanejším liekom

Najčastejšou príčinou úmrtí v civilizovaných krajinách sú kardiovaskulárne ochorenia, predovšetkým akútne následky aterosklerózy na podklade aterotrombózy, čo dokladujú štatistiky WHO so stálou aktualizáciou. Racionálna terapia smerujúca predovšetkým k zmene životného štýlu má už pozitívne výsledky vo väčšine krajín s vyspelým zdravotníctvom, kde sa pripája racionálne využívanie liekov v prevencii a terapii najzávažnejších kardiovaskulárnych ochorení. Na terapeutických úspechoch sa závažnou mierou podielajú antitrombotiká. Tieto schematicky rozdelené do troch základných skupín odpovedajú aj skladbe článkov tohto čísla...
