Acute bronchitis and pneumonia in clinical practice

In the 21st century, due to unhealthy lifestyle, higher average age of population with longer life expectancy, naturally there are
also more individuals affected by population diseases and manifested or subclinical immunodeficiencies connected there with.
Particularly these individuals are more prone to lower respiratory tract infections like acute bronchitis or pneumonia. The incidence
of both of these clinical units is rising and more often the course of the diseases is more severe. In this review article we will
focus on definition of both of the diseases, their diagnostics, their therapy, and at last but not least on the clinical experiences.
